Well, after the treatment, I thought that I had just wasted a bunch of money, but I have never felt the urge to smoke again, and subsequently threw out that carton. My best friend and I both had the treatment, and she remains smoke free as well. If you want to change your life and live longer get the treament, you will not be sorry.I am proud to say, it has been 1 year + 3 months of SMOKE FREE living! After my 1/2 hour treatment I got into my car and saw my pack of cigarettes on the passenger seat...but just wasn't 'connected' to them. I felt like I was not a person that quit smoking... I was a non-smoker. After 2 weeks little by little the urges poked it's nasty head back into my life, but I waited it out (a couple of minutes) and it was gone. Never returned for booster - been 'non-smoker' since 1997. I'm really done this time. I cannot believe after all the years of smoking and all the failed attempts at quitting I am finally rid of it. It's amazing how much easier it gets each day. I'm not going to pretend it was easy at the beginning tho! Had I not gone to Alpha I would have never made it thru the first 10 days or so. It does get better tho. I never made it this far without a cigarette to know that until now. I still have my rubber band on, not because I need it, but just as a reminder of my success! I also was afraid of developing cancer as I already had permanent damage to my lungs. I am happy to say I am smoke free almost 6 mths now and have never felt better.
